January Highlights
Beginning in 2026, our mission work is now structured as a non-profit organization, named, Center for Intercultural Biblical Studies (CiBS). The mission remains focused on providing intercultural Bible education throughout the world (through logosanswers.org, Asian Christian University, etc.). Our family continues to be under the oversight of the elders at the Woodstock congregation. Please be on the lookout for correspondence from us as to how to direct tax-deductible contributions going forward.
Scott completed a Freed Hardeman graduate course in NT Theology.
Alexis taught a ladies class at Woodstock from the book of Judges.
We welcomed our newest member of the Ihle Crew, a GSP puppy, named Jovie. We hope to train her as a therapy dog for hospital visits as a way to open the door for sharing the Good News with patients.

Cambodia
While many of us were focused on the joys and comforts of the holiday season, our brothers and sisters in Cambodia were facing a sad crisis. In December, a long-standing border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia escalated into a significant military conflict involving airstrikes and heavy shelling. The impact was devastating. Over 600,000 people were forced to flee their homes at the peak of the violence, seeking refuge in pagodas, schools, and open fields with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The Cambodian church and our missionary partners felt great distress and sadness over the hardships of their neighbors.
In response to the need, we asked for a special collection to participate in immediate relief. Thanks to the generosity of several individual supporters, we were able to work directly through our trusted missionary partner, Heang Chanvanny, to deliver supplies for the displaced and needy. Working alongside local believers, Heang helped coordinate the distribution of rice, blankets, shelters, and mosquito nets to hundreds of evacuees. Beyond physical aid, your support even helped spread the Good News. Along with every pack of supplies, a message of encouragement from Scripture was included to let the suffering know that Jesus cares for them.

Thank you to all who contributed to these efforts. Thank you for all your prayers.
Share the Good News in 2026
Will you commit to sharing the Good News about Jesus with someone you love in 2026? There are many ways you can do so. You can have a personal conversation, a home study through a book of the Bible, or simply invite someone to church. I wanted a way to share the Good News digitally, as a simple story. That’s why we developed the God’s Plan video. It takes a nonbeliever from Creation, to the problem of sin, to the solution found in Jesus, to our response, in a visually compelling way in less than 10 minutes. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to check it out at youtube.com/@logosanswers. Please share it with those you love.

Prefer something you can touch and hand out? No problem! We created business cards just for that purpose. We would love to create and order some for your congregation. One side takes people to the God’s Plan video on the Logos Answers website. The other side will direct people to your own church website, along with service times and how to connect with another local teacher. We can even make these available in Portuguese, with many other languages soon to follow! Reach out, and Alexis will help you with the order.
2025 Blessings and 2026 Goals
We are beyond grateful for all the ways God has used us in 2025. We find no greater joy than to be able to serve and teach the Word of God. We are also grateful for your generous participation in this work and for your continued commitment and prayers.
In 2026, we look forward to:
- Translating God’s Plan into at least 10 other languages
- Developing a “Who is Jesus?” video series from the Gospel of Mark
- Graduating from Freed Hardeman with a Masters of Divinity
- Teaching Greek for Masters students at Asian Christian University
- Traveling to Philippines and India to conduct “Who is Jesus?” seminars
Love,
The Ihle Crew
